Soul in Motion to top variety show

IMPERIAL Charity will be holding its annual variety show next Saturday 15th November, when Soul in Motion will revive some of the 1960s’ most popular musicians and Motown classics.

The variety show will take place from 2pm until 5pm at the Paragon Hall. The show is free to those with special needs and their carers, or £5 for senior citizens.

Imperial Charity president David McCance said, “Although the show is at very short notice, it was the only date we could get Soul in Motion for about nine months, so we thought November would be a nice lead-up to Christmas.”

Soul in Motion is a  four-piece soul, Motown and disco tribute act playing music from the likes of The Drifters, Jackson Five, The Platters, Barry White and The Four Tops.

The event will also be a rare opportunity to see supporting act, ‘Man with a Bubble’; a very funny act rarely seen on this side of the continent. There will also be support from a Country and Western band playing classics from the 50s, 60s & 70s.
